Some old posts

I just found a bunch of old posts dating back to 2006, most of which won't have survived the various upgrades to the site since then. Adding them to the current blog is copy/paste work, so obviously not everything is copied, but I've copied over some stuff that probably took a while to write, or that's still useful or whatever. There is no need for any other moderator than myself. The volume of blog comments I get is quite manageable. Thank you for your interest.
