Great North Run and Children with Leukaemia

On the 30th September I'll be running in the Great North Run, which is the granddaddy of 'em all in terms of mass-participation half-marathons. I've done it once before, back in 1994, when I was relatively young, fit and in training. This time, I'm none of those things, especially the latter.
